Registration & participation
Everything you need to know about free and paid Mallorca Business Club events.
Which events these terms cover
These terms apply to free and paid events organised under the Mallorca Business Club label, including meetups, workshops, talks and networking events. The relevant event page tells you whether an event is free or paid before you register.
The specific event description sets out the date, venue, content, included services, any participation fee, capacity and special participation requirements. A minimum number of participants applies only if expressly stated there. Any special conditions will be communicated before registration; mandatory statutory rights always remain unaffected.
Who organises the event
Your contracting party is the organiser named in the event description and the acceptance of your registration. FrankVestor GmbH operates the website; this does not automatically mean that it organises every event presented there.
For events delivered and invoiced by Christiane Frank, your contracting party is Christiane Frank, sole trader (Autónoma), Carrer Mascarell 1 Bl. 2 - 1B, 07610 Palma, Spain, VAT ID ESZ1107637P. Contact: workshop@mallorcabusinessclub.de, telephone / WhatsApp +34 601 995 948. For other organisers, full contact details will be given in the relevant event description and confirmation.
Registration and acceptance
Where registration is required, use the contact method stated for the event, for example email or WhatsApp. Include the event, your preferred date, your name and the number of people. For paid events, we also require the billing address. Meetups expressly advertised as open and requiring no registration do not need prior acceptance.
Your registration initially constitutes an enquiry or, for paid events, an offer to enter into a participation contract. Participation becomes binding only when the relevant organiser expressly accepts it. The website listing, opening a prepared message and a simple acknowledgement of receipt do not reserve a place. For a group registration, you must inform the other participants of the applicable terms.
Free events
No participation fee is charged for events advertised as free. There is no invoice or payment deadline for attending. Where registration is required, your place is confirmed by personal acceptance and is not conditional on payment.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel as early as possible through the original contact method so that someone else can take your place. We charge no fee for cancelling your participation in a free event. You pay for any food, drinks, travel or other personal expenses you arrange yourself unless they are expressly stated to be included. Registering alone does not book any paid additional services.
Paid events and payment
For paid events, the final price displayed before registration applies, including any applicable taxes. Spanish VAT is identified as “incl. IVA”. The event description specifies what is included. For a group registration, the person registering is responsible for payment for all expressly confirmed places unless otherwise agreed.
Together with binding acceptance, you receive the invoice and these terms, including the applicable withdrawal information, in a form you can save. For events invoiced by Christiane Frank, payment is due immediately. The full amount must be received within 48 hours of your receipt of the acceptance and invoice. You can pay by PayPal, Bizum or bank transfer using the details on the invoice. Please allow for bank processing times.
For these events, if full payment is not received on time, acceptance of your participation automatically expires and the place may be allocated to someone else. A late payment does not constitute renewed acceptance and will be refunded in full unless new participation is expressly agreed. Other organisers state their payment methods and deadlines before registration. This section applies exclusively to paid events and does not shorten any statutory withdrawal rights.
Cancelling your participation and sending a replacement
For paid events, no additional voluntary right to cancel free of charge is provided after the contract is concluded unless the specific event description offers more favourable terms. You may nominate a replacement at any time before the event starts, at no extra charge, provided they meet the stated participation requirements. Inform the organiser of their name by email or WhatsApp. The original payment obligation remains in place.
If you do not attend a paid event and do not send a replacement, the agreed fee generally remains payable. Saved expenses and income from reallocating your place will be deducted. You may prove that no loss, or a smaller loss, was incurred. Statutory withdrawal, termination and refund rights remain fully unaffected. For free events, the free cancellation option described above applies.
Minimum attendance and cancellation by the organiser
Any minimum number of participants and the deadline for cancellation on that basis must be expressly stated for the specific event before registration. The minimum is assessed separately for each date. If a stated minimum is not reached, that event date will not take place. Without such a notice, there is no blanket minimum attendance requirement for all Club events.
If the organiser cancels an event, participation fees already paid will be refunded in full (100%). This also applies to cancellation due to insufficient participants. Refunds will be made without fees and no later than 14 days after cancellation, using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise. For free events, no participation fee has been paid and therefore none needs to be refunded. We will notify you of cancellation promptly using your known contact method. Moving your booking to a replacement date requires your agreement; any further statutory claims remain unaffected.
Withdrawal from paid events
If you register as a consumer for a paid event by email, WhatsApp or through the website, the statutory right of withdrawal applies unless a statutory exception applies. A fixed date alone does not exclude the right of withdrawal for all types of events. The organiser must expressly inform you before the contract is concluded of any exception that actually applies to the particular event. Without such notice, paid events under these terms are in any case subject to the 14-day withdrawal right described below.
You may withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract without giving a reason. Inform the organiser named in your acceptance by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or WhatsApp. For contracts with Christiane Frank, send it to Christiane Frank, Carrer Mascarell 1 Bl. 2 - 1B, 07610 Palma, Spain, workshop@mallorcabusinessclub.de, telephone / WhatsApp +34 601 995 948. For other organisers, use the contact address in their event description and acceptance. Sending your statement before the deadline is sufficient.
Following withdrawal, the organiser will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal. The same payment method will be used unless expressly agreed otherwise. No refund fees will be charged.
If you expressly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, withdrawal after it has begun requires payment only of the legally permitted, proportionate amount for services actually provided up to that point. Your right of withdrawal expires upon full performance only if you previously expressly agreed to the early start and acknowledged that you would lose your right upon full performance. Free events remain subject to free cancellation.

Consideration, data protection and statutory rights
Please treat other participants respectfully and follow the announced instructions and the venue’s house rules. Photographing or filming other participants requires their consent. At practical events, you decide whether to take part actively and which device to use; do not upload other people’s confidential or personal data to AI services without authorisation. The privacy notice explains how registration data is processed.
Spanish law applies to contracts with Christiane Frank. For events offered by other providers, applicable law is determined by their validly agreed terms and statutory rules. Mandatory protections of the country of your habitual residence, statutory jurisdiction rules and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
